Hey there, fabulous readers! I’m Ash, and I’ve had quite the journey so far! Buckle up for my roller coaster journey from testing circuits to crafting marketing magic!
Once upon a time, I was knee-deep in the world of electronics, surrounded by PCBs, multimeters, and more wires than a spaghetti factory. Don’t get me wrong, tinkering with pcbs, multimeters, and wires was fun at first, but the repetition eventually left me feeling burnt out. Sound familiar?
Fast forward to my side hustle era – selling headbands, hair bows, and scrunchies online. From production to website wizardry, I did it all. It was like running a one-woman circus, complete with hair accessories as the star performers.
Alas, the hustle was real, and after a year, the exhaustion got the best of me. Imagine working a full-time tech gig for 10 hours, then moonlighting in the hair accessories empire for another 2-3 hours daily. It was a wild ride, but one I couldn’t sustain.
My light bulb moment
Amid the chaos, I discovered my creative side. Marketing templates, ad tools, website building – it was exhilarating. That lightbulb moment hit: What if I could get paid for doing what I love? Enter the enigma that is Digital Marketing!
With my introverted self knowing it needed a reboot, I dabbled in sales. Picture an introvert’s nightmare – talking to 50+ strangers a day, convincing them to buy stuff. It was nerve-wracking, to say the least.
Fast-forward a bit more, and here I am, almost a year into the sales game. Valuable lessons learned, but my eyes are still on the digital marketing prize.
